does bcbs ahs statenetwork cover lapband?

I tried to search the forums for the answer to my question but couldn't seem to find it? Any teachers out there that have had lapband i would love to hear from you!

I am not a teacher but had the bcbs state ins and they cover NOTHING to do with weight loss.  I do know that Medicare just starting covering lap band so bcbs ms or state will prob have to follow suit before long.  although it is up to your employer as to what they allow and disallow in the insurance.
