Banding in Mexico

Any one on this board been banded in Mexico?? I am to be banded on Sept 20th.  I start my liquid diet on sept 13th sooooooooo I am getting nervous a bit about it all!!  Would love any info to help me thru this stage.!!

My advise: if you are planning on having your adjustments in the states and not in Mexico, make sure you contact a program prior to your surgery.  Many programs in the states do not follow patients that have procedures out of the country.

I have found a Dr in Jackson that will do follow up and fills when needed, and the cost isnt sooo high. That is always a good thing.

Please keep me posted on your mexico dr and how you do. My son has been looking into this option. I'm sure you will do well but we have to follow dr instruction to the letter to keep problems from occuring. please contact me if you would like to talk. GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks for your support... When I get cought up here at work maybe I can find the time to chat. Where are you from?  I need all the support I can find. And it is nice to have someone to talk to that has been there and done that!!! I will keep u up dated on it all.  I will take my lap to to Mexico soo I will be on here to update!
