The temperature was wonderful this morning!! Nice and cool with a little crispness to the breeze, almost felt like fall!! Fall sooo my favorite time of the year!! It means cooler temps and high school/college FOOTBALL!!!! Can't wait until the first game, Aug 29th. GO BIG RED!!! Today is my sons first day of college. Hope all is going well for him. I got up this morning, packed lunches and put supper on (in the crockpots). I put a whole chicken on to roast in one crockpot and corn on the cob and baby potatoes in the other. I covered the chicken with seaoning salt and a little cajun seasoning, poured a diet coke in the bootom of the pot (to make it more tender) and let it go. I put some half ears of corn and new baby potatoes with cajun seasoning (shrimp boil style, kinda, minus the shrimp..lol) covered them in water turned them on high and let them go. When I get home all I will have to do is cook some green beans and take the lids off the others!! Hope everyone is having a great day!!

OH it did feel great this am.  Too bad it isnt going to last.  lol lol  Your supper sounds wonderful!  I baked a chicken last sunday and it turned out so good.  We ate the last of it last night and it was even better.  lol lol  Hubby has to work at the Purvis volunteer fire dept fair tonight so I got it easy.  AS long as the baby gets fed not gonna worry with me.  lol lol

My hubby cooked dinner last night.  He bought some fresh shrimp on his way home from work and boiled those babies up.  They were so good.  I did fix some corn and pasta to go with them.  It did feel nice yesterday morning, but it was sure hot by the afternoon.  And my best friend and I went walking last night at about 7:15 thinking it would be nice by then.  No such luck.  We sweated down.  LOL.
