When is it time for 1st fill

Can anyone tell me when most surgeons do patients first fill. I am 3 weeks post op now, just advanced to full liquid diet which I will be on for 4 weeks (or until I am 7 wks post op).  It seems a lot of people get a fill within first 30 days, so I was just wondering what the norm was. I just feel so hungry all the time. Usually eat  about a cup at a time of pudding, yogurt, slim fast every 3 hours.  3 wks post op-wt loss 32 pounds

Hello Fellow Bandster!  Lets see I got my band on May 21st I didnt receive my first fill till Mid-July.  Its normal for your appetite to return because your stomach is healing properly and the swelling around your tummy is going away allowing the band to get its proper fit... I know those are not fancy medical terms but thats how I understood it.  What I do when I get the munchies I normally have a sugar free popcicle or sip on a nice cup of something whether it be soup, broth, water, juice, anything with sugar free to it.  I hope this information helps.  Congratulations on your weight loss I know it has to be an exciting time for you.  Best Wishes!
