I got up this morning with baking on my mind...lol. We are having lunch at church tomorrow and I am going to make several things to take there and I am going to do my usual "goody" platters for our friends and neighbors today.  We always have Christmas Breakfast at our house. We have ever since our son was very small. That way, the grandparents go tot see him open his gifts. He soon to be 18 and we are still having Christmas Breakfast. It has become our family tradition.  Hold on to your hat because this is enough to pop a stitch or two. I am making homemade waffles, homemade biscuits, hash browns, sausage, bacon, country ham, eggs, chocolate gravy and I found a recipe on another board for a crustless quiche I want to make for me. I will also have a platter of fruit. Lordy mercy, it still makes me ill to think that a couple of Christmas's ago, I would over indulge in all of that and then go to my dh grandmother's house for lunch and pork out again. Not any more!!!! To GOD be the glory!!!  Merry Christmas everyone!!!

We have Christmas breakfast around 9:00 at my mom's house.  She usually does homemade biscuits, grits, eggs, bacon, ham, and all kinds of preserves and jellies.  My dad will sometimes do fresh squeezed orange juice.   We have been all around celebrating Christmas already with lots of different foods at every place, some traditional and some not. Merry Christmas!
