Hi Ya'll!  No one here probably remembers me besides Melissa. But here's my update.  I'm 15 months post op.  I was 233 #s & now I'm 136#s.  Went from a tight size 22 & now I'm about a 8 or 10.  I could probably wear 6's if I didn't have this gigando belly lol..flabby & chunky belly.  Everyone is amazed by my progress....even me.  I've been doing ok except I had the scare of my life Friday morning.  I woke up at 4 AM in the worst pain ever.  My stomach was killing me.  I almost cried it was so bad.  Freaked me out & upset me.  I drank some pepto & took some motrin & prayed & it eased up within 5-10 minutes.  I fell asleep in the recliner & woke up 1 1/2 hours later to get my girls ready for school & felt ok.  pain was gone.  I hope that was just a freak thing.  I hope ya'll are all ok.  I have 10 #s to go till goal.  Wish I could make it to a support meeting. I rarely get to Hattiesburg unless I have an appointment.  I am going THursday with my sister to her dr., but I'm there to help babysit her 3 year old.  I have my next check up next month....supose to have pics made there.  I feel for that camera. lol.  Take care!

I wonder if you have a kidney stone?  My (fellow WLS, by the way) urologist said that WLS patients tend to have them, and also said that they hurt only when they are blocking the urine flow, so if one gets turned on its side it might stop hurting.  Just a thought... Marcia

Thanks for the reply.  I've had kidney stones before several years ago & that's not it.  What I felt w/ kidney stones was like non stop back labor.  This was actual stomach pain...right below rib cage.  Hasn't happened again since so thats good.
