Plastics are done

Hey all my plastics are done but I am sore and swollen all went well. Dr Miller did a good job. I still have my drains and such. Those should come out on Tuesday!!! They  are such a pain. I will keep you all posted on my progress. Thanks for all of your prayers! Amy

Yes I came home the same day. My back and legs are really sore too as well as tummy and chest. But I am able to get up more alone today. Still get tired easy but improving a little each day. Hopefully drains will come out on Tuesday at my next appt. They are annoying. Thanks for your prayers. Amy

Glad to know you are home.  I had mine done Friday and I am miserable from sitting inthe recliner.  Alot of pain in the incision area below and sore up top.  Sleeping alot and bored.  I go to the doctor tomorrow for a check up.  Stay strong and positive. Sharron.

I get up and walk every hour to hour and half but my butt is sore from sitting and back is sore from walking bent over. My husband arranged my pillows so I can at least prop up in bed and sleep. More comfy than the couch. My arms are really sore today I am using ice packs and that is helping some. Maybe just in my head but what ever works. I hope your check up goes well. I want these drains out on tuesday they are annoying. But dont want the comlications of taking them out to early either. so we will see. You stay strong too. Do like to do word searches or cross word etc? I am doing alot of word search. Talk to you later take care Amy

Did you get your drains out today?  I hope so...Let me know what the feeling is like.  I am much better today.  Really bored like you.  I can do some work for my office at home, but the security systems has me locked out.  I went to the doctor and got the bandages off and finally saw a flat tummy, which is cool, however chest still fills tight and ichy.  The binder is killing me.  Dr. Richardson said to get one my husbands old t-shirts and cut it down the midde, so we do not have to put it over out heads and that works, but the girls itch like crazy.   I will probably get the drain out Thursday and have a semi normal life.  I have not taken a shower, just a sponge bath.  I am going to attempt a shower today.  For the itching, I am using Benadryl spray as to not take the tablets because they make me sleepy.  My back is hurting also. I am reading alot, which is good because I never get to read and children are being very good. Let me know how the doctor goes and about those drains. Take Care. Sharron

I used Dr John Miller. He is great! Call his office and at least talk to him. His consults are free. Raven and Andrea are his nurses they are great. Miss Patty at the front is wonderful. Beth is also one of his girls he is by memorial hospital. I had my consult on the 31st of July and surgery on the 8th of Aug. You do have to pay up front they use a finance company if you need one.
