Monday is the start

Well I am leaving for UMC on monday morning for my weeks of hospital stay. I was scared before but now that it is so close and that this is really happening.....I am freaking out. I am so scared and nervous. The hospital is trying really hard to help me. Even though I am going for panni removal some company has donated the hospital one of those new baratric beds that turn into a chair for me. Bad thing is they are putting me in the ICU section or something like that for my whole stay. Has anyone ever been to that part of UMC that can tell me what its like??? I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the support. Some of you wanted to know how to reach me. I am taking a laptop and hoping for internet but if not anyone can call or text my daughter Haley at 601-307-8525 Hugs, Legina

Legina, You're in my prayers.   If you don't have internet access, I will be glad to post your status here.  Just ask Haley to call my cell 601-415-0161.   And if you get bored and would like to talk, give my a call.  I work 7 to 3:30 Monday-Friday and don't get good reception in my building, but otherwise call me. Will call and definitely see if I can visit you - Hopefully can visit you in ICU?  Don't know how visits work at ICU at UMC, but will find out, and I'm guessing you'll have a phone in your room? Just pray for calm/peace and know that you have to get better to get out of that bed and you have come so far just being able to diet on your own - I am so proud of you. DeAnna
