One step closer!!!

After waiting for 3 weeks for an appointment, I finally went to a heart doctor to get my cardio clearance for surgery.  GOT IT!!!!  I'm ready to go.  I still have to have a scope done to check for hernias or ulcer...anyone been thru that?? Tonya

I am glad that went ok. I am going to have my EGD Monday so I will let you know. I do know they will give me good drugs!~! hehe!

I will definitely look forward to talking to you next Tuesday.  I'm so afraid of being aware of that thing going down my throat!  Just the thought of it makes me gag!

Don't fret about the scope...  It was a piece of cake for me, and I gag really easy!  They told me after I woke up that I actually got the hiccups while they were doing the scope, but I don't remember a thing!  They are really good at what they do and you most likely will not remember any of it!  I had to have a second scope done about a month after my surgery due to a sticture, and I honestly didn't feel a thing either time! I don't remember the scope either - just remember looking up at the nurse one time in the procedure, but felt nothing - not even sore throat afterwards - D
