PLASTIC SURGEON WHO DOES BODY LIFTS IN MISS OR SURROUNDING STATES?

Hi there, I haven't been able to locate a surgeon in Mississippi who does Body Lifts after WLS. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Deborah

I live in Jackson, MS area. I used Dr. Songcharoen (he's in the same group as Dr. Dev Mani-Sundaram) ---I've heard only good things about that entire group.   I also met with Dr. McGraw at UMC.  He does (and has taught some extensive programs/lectures across the US) specifically for WLS patients. I had an extensive tummy tuck, medial thigh lift, breast lift and outer thigh and back lipo.  That was my equivalent of a body lift. :)  I'm 7 weeks out and doing good. I do have to say, though, the plastic surgery adventure is soooooo very different than WLS.  Though I'm proud I had it done, it's very hard for me to 'recommend' it.  good luck to you and your research, though!  It's also complicated by the fact that so few insurance companies will pay anything for plastics. mary

I'm not certain but I've also heard that there is someone in Yazoo City who does them. Might want to check them out.

I am two years out from recon surgery.  I had pannis removed, breast lift and two hernias repaired.  I had this done Aug. 1, 2005  at UMC with Dr. John McGraw supervising his interns. I had a good experience.  He is very compassionate w/ WLS pts.  This was tough surgery.  Your recovery is really different from WLS.  I am so glad I did it. glenda

 

Thank you for all your replies, I have found a Dr's Group in Flowood that performs Body Contouring. I have already made a consultation appointment. They say the charge is $100.00 - $130.00. It want be until the end of month, so I will write back then to give the details... Sincerely, Deborah
