Tupelo MS

Has anyone had their surgery done in Tupelo MS? If so who done it and any complications? Or have you heard anything about any of the drs in Tupelo? Thanks Sonya Mantachie MS

Hi Sonya, sorry to hear about your troubles with your pcp..I have a friend that works for NMMC and she said there is supposed to be a bariatric surgery clinic coming to Tupelo soon.  Call the help desk thru NMMC and they may can hook you up.  Wish I could be of more help but good luck girl

Hey Melanie,  I also have a friend that works at NMMC and she has told me about the surgeons that are fixing to start there..She said they are supposed to start in September with a waiting list of 325. I am going to call Monday and find out more..I am kind of curious if i can be bumped up some and won't have to go through all the procedures again since I have already done them all...Nice to hear from you... Sonya,   I'm so sorry you are having such troubles!  I would be very upset.  I'm sure that you can find someone who will do it for you.  I'm surprised that the colon cancer issue wasn't more of a concern.  But I'm no nurse or doc... so what the heck do I know?  LOL Anyway... what surgeon turned you down?  Just curious.   Thinking of you.. and keep us posted!

I have been in remission will be 4 years this Dec..i guess that is why it isn't much of a big thing..The dr that turned me down was Dr King from Oxford MS.. Sonya
