Wanting A Date

I went to see Dr King yesterday and thought I was going to get a date. They came in and took my guess what you would call Before pics and everything. Then the dr came in and said since I am on pain pills for my back that I had to have my reg physician to write him a letter stating that I am not addicted to narcotics and that I am a candidate for the gastric. I know I am not addicted cause I only take the pain meds WHEN NEEDED so not a everyday thing. I know I will have no problem getting the letter for the fact my dr is behind me 100% for the surgery. As a matter of fact I dropped the letter off at her office today at 1pm so that she could write me a statement for the surgeon and when I called her office at 4:30 it was ready for me to pick up. All I got to do now is call my surgeon's office and tell them I have the statement in hand (as soon as I get it first thing in morning) then they will get me back in his office and give me a date..WOOT.....Sorry for rambling on just wanted to let everyone know. hey girlie! I feel you haveing to cross every t and dot every i.. they made me take a drug and alcohol test before I could have my surgery.. I don't do either one! I have a drink but only at holidays. They wanted to know everything..I even had to go through psychiatric counseling prior to my surgery to make sure I knew what I was doing . Most pepole only have to go once, but I had to go for three or four months..but in the end its all worth it! I've lost 140 pounds and I couldnt feel better!  Hugs  Crystal
