New Member!!!

Hi everyone, I'm so glad that I found this MS forum!!!  It's so good to hear from people that have used the same group that I'm "waiting" to complete my journey.  Blood work, psych evaluation, other medical tests all completed...just waiting on the phone call from Tina to set up my final appointment to meet Dr. Cummins and get my surgery date for Lap Band!!  SO EXCITED!!I'm from Lake.  Anyone else from around my area?? I am from Philly (Philadelphia). So I don't live to far from you. I work for the tribe so whenever I go to Conehatta, I see the sign to Lake. I haven't been here on the board long either. I have just finished my test also as of noon today so I am waiting to see what happens next. Welcome. See ya around.

Hi Amanada - So glad to hear from someone at the same point I am.  I actually heard from the dr's office on Friday.  I have got to get a cardiology clearance now so I'm scheduled to go to get that done on July 31st.  I'm hoping to have my surgery scheduled about the 2 - 3rd week of August if everything goes as planned!   Which doctor are you using?  How long have you been working on everything?  I actually went to a seminar back in March and getting my insurance approved took FOREVER!!  But that's done now and all my tests are finished (except the heart stuff) and I'm ready to go...just can't hardly wait!! I get to Philly pretty often.  I love Oddlee Unik....such a neat store!  I try not to take my daughter too much...she always wants everything. Hope to hear from you soon! Tonya
