SUPPORT GROUP MEETING MERIDIAN

Hey Everybody !!   I sure am missing you all !!  We only had 4 folks at our June meeting.  We had a good discussion though & Billy Ray came to join us from Hattiesburg .  We always enjoy Billy Ray & hope he will come back as often as possible.  I know summer is in full swing right now with children out of school & ball games & the like – but I hope everyone will join us Monday evening.  I really think we ALL need each other – after this surgery. 

 

I know you all join me in sending our sincere sympathy to Joyce Richardson in the loss of her father recently.  She came by EMEPA yesterday & looked absolutely WONDERFUL !!!  She has lost over 200 pounds & looks GREAT !!!

 

Ya’ll try to come & join us for our support group meeting. I’ll have some legal snacks &  I look forward to seeing all of you – so be safe & come I hope you all have a good & safe 4^th of July. 

 

Would someone please post this on the Obesity Help site for me – I would appreciate that.

Judi Nutt I won't be able to come again,  drats.  Working as usual at the Dollar General.  I am leaving on vac on the 4th going to colorado to visit a friend.  I hope to get back to the meeting sometime.  I need them to keep me honest.  I am sorry that I missed Billy Wayne.  take care- Steph

I only live 35 min away from Meridian, when and where is the meeting?

Hi Amanda; It is held at the EMEPA auditorium.  EMEPA is on Hwy 39 in Meridian.  If you get off hwy 20/59 going through meridian follow the signs like you would be going to NAS Meridian.  You will see the EMEPA building.  It has a jet on a pole at the entrance.  If you past the jet you have gone too far.  It is right next to the Toyota dealership in Meridian.  I would tell you to call me.  but i will be working and not able to go.  If you need more detailed stuff please e-mail me again and I will try to be more detail.  thanks.  It starts at 6:00 p.m. till when we quit.  We have a great time.  We talk about EVERYTHING !!!  It is great.  It helped me before and after surgery. Hello, I live in Olive Branch how are far away are you from me? i relocate from Oregon

Meridian is on the east side of the state on Interstate 20. I think Olive Branch is just right south of Memphis on 55 right? If it is then you are 3 hours away from Meridian.

Hi!

I am originally from Meridian... live in Southaven, MS now... there are several support groups

closer to us... most in Memphis.... I think I read about one in Olive Branch too!

Check out the major hospitals in Memphis.... most do the surgery now and have their own

support groups.
