Hey girl! I was just thinking about you.. and thinking I was gonna email you on myspace tonight. Girl I know exactly what you mean.. I'm stuck at 210 pounds.. it will not budge.. mainly because I am not eating right, I admit it.. I need to clean up my act.lol  I need to start excersising even if its just walking  that's a start.  I have found the best way to lose weight is to sort of eat like the weigh****chers style. you eat a wide variety of whole grains and protien and fruits and veggies. I would just modify it to eat more protien like chicken and fish and stuff like that. lean protien. I'm going to really buckle down. I have an appointment with Dr. De la Torre in Birmingham, AL to consult with me on gettig a tummy tuck July 6th my friend Clay had his surgery the same day I did and he has already gotten his tummy tuck and he looks fabulous! I think I'm going to start going  back to support groups .. its' always good to have your support. Keeps u motivated.. Stay in touch girl! Crystal

though it sounds silly--I think you should get back on the board with regular posts.  :)  remember how you used to do the "what did you eat" or "how did you exercise" daily things?  It not only kept you accountable, it helped lots of us.  Support groups tend to go a long way--even if you use it as an avenue to vent your frustration.  to internalize the frustration usually means eating more (or more of the wrong things).  Glad you're getting a grip on the alcohol consumption...that's something that is full of empty calories and has a way of getting out of control in more ways than one. good luck.  welcome back.  please come again. :) mary

Hey, girl.  Glad to see ya back.  I don't post very much anymore because everyone from our group is gone.  I left myself for a while but found I get off track when I do that.  So I hang out on the grads board and post here occasionally when I recognize someone.   You need to get back to the protein, whole grains, fruits and veggies, and stay away from the simple carbs.  You are already back exercising so the weight should come right back off.  What I discovered has worked for me has been working on the way I think.  I discovered a book online that is about 50 pages or so and you can print it out online.  It is thinking yourself thin.  A therapist friend of mine told me about it and said that it is extreme but the idea is a good one.  I have read it twice and am trying to apply it to my life in order to change the way I think.  Because I know for me when I would get off track a little I would degrade myself and get depressed and climb into my little hole and shut down.  This little book has helped me not to do that anymore.  It is really helping me.   It is called How to Think Yourself Thin by Debbie Johnson.  Like I said, it seems crazy and extreme but I just use some ideas from it that are helpful in getting me to be more positive and stuff.   Good luck. You can do it.  I been missing my exercise pal on here.  You are the only other person who exercises as much as I do.  LOL. Melissa
