My dreams are coming true

Some of you know I have a extremely huge panniculus to remove and have not even had WLS yet.Yesterday my dream came true. I took a ambulance to Jackson and saw Dr. Lineaweaver. He is wonderful and really talks to like a person.  He said he will do my surgery but it is dangerous. But if i sit in this room bedbound i have no chance. So with surgery I will have a chance so I am going for it. On Aug 13 i check in UMC and stay 10 days pre op so I can meet doctors, test, and a meds change on my blood thinner.  Then on Aug. 22 I will have my surgery where he will cut well over 100 lbs of panni off of me. Then I spend like 3 or 4 days in ICU and then on to a regular room. I have to be in UMC at a min of 3 weeks. Boy am I gonna be lonely and crazy. Of course after being bedbound all that traveling yesterday. I am paying today. I think it even hurts when I blink. LOL Well I just wanted to share this with everyone cause even if its a little scary its my dream coming true. Hugs, Legina

i will be praying for you , just pray and god will take care of you. you will fell so much better after you heal from the surgery.  do you have a laptop you could take wiuth you so you can continue to let us know how your doing and whats going on with you? i sure want to know. i am having surgery the 6 of august. im excited. you will do good. take care of yourself and keep me informed .

Thanks for the prayers first thing. No I don't have a lap top just a desk top. I really would give anything if I did because I am gonna be in the hospital for several weeks and my family will not be there hardly any. So I will just have to update when I get home I guess. Hugs, Legina

I just joined the "Mississippi Prayer Warriors" it is an on-line site to get people all over Mississsippi to pray together for different reasons, I will add you to our prayer list , but please check out the site for yourself. Also , I know after my surgery I will be needing my stomach removed, it hangs now, so I know it will be worse after I lose the weight , so please keep me informed.  thank

Well that sounds wonderful, and I understand the scary too - strange to be excited and scared at the same time!!!  You can bet there are several of us who will come see you at UMC !  So, you just keep letting us know how you are doing!  And I will be praying for you too. DeAnna

That would be awesome to meet some of you on here. I really don't have any friends. I will be in the hospital at least 3 weeks and its gonna be so lonely since my family will not be able to come there that much. We live in moselle which for those that don't know is between Hattiesburg and Laurel. They have to work and with gas costing so much they just can't come. Looking forward to meeting some people.
