Now a loser!!!!!

Hi Everyone, Well, I made it home today.  Was not sure Dr. Cleveland was going to let me come home - I ended up having to get 4 pints of blood!  I am bruised from one end of me to the other and I swear, If another phlebotomist came into my room, I was going to scream!  IV's coming out of both hands, bandaids and cottonballs on most of the rest of my arms - but......like I said I am now on the losing side- Yippie Glad to be home with my family and looking forward to a six week recovery.  I lost 12 pounds on the pre-diet so was glad of that too.

Hey there!  Congrats on being a loser!  :)  I hope you get everything you desire from your new tool.  I, too, lost about 12 pounds on the pre-op diet...and in 8 months lost a total of 115 pounds.  I've been stable the past 6 months, but I'm totally happy.  Hope you'll have as much luck! Please let me know if there's anythign I can do for you (though I'm physically out right now, i can give lots of emotional support.....) haha. take care! mary

Hey Surgery Class Alumni!  Your the final person in our class to make it to the losers bench!  I've been waiting for you!  I know what you mean about those women poking you every hour on the hour and the bruising.  Take it easy and do what the doc says and don't forget to walk when you can.  I will be in town for my follow up visit on July 5th for 9:30 i'm sure we will talk before then it will be so great to see you if your up to it!  Be Blessed and Congratulations on the new you!

Hey girl !!   I've been inquiring about you. Sorry you had such a tough time in the hospital.  Glad you are home.  Hope everything continues to get better.   Call me this weekend on my cellphone if you need me.  IF, big IF, you decide you want to get out on Saturday you know where we will be camping.   Might be a different site but same place. Hi, Tracey!  I am so glad you've made it through everything and are home from the surgery.  We discussed your situation at the support group and everybody has been worried about you.  You've been in my prayers.   Can't wait to see a thinner you at the next support meeting.  Congratulations! Marcia
