Drains out today!
Well today was my first post-op visit. First time to see my new belly and my new breasts (just lifted mind you, not enhanced). Wow. I honestly got teary--it was amazing. I got the drains out, and got to shower tonight for the first time in a week. wow. what a wonderful thing! I did learn a lesson, though...the binders help tremendously with swelling! I'm very happy, though, with the results so far... now back in the binder except for showers---for the next few weeks.
Hi! I just browsed over to this board since Im from Mississippi also and I saw your post and it brought back memories. I had a full tummy tuck and breast lift/with implants right before hurricane katrina. That surgery was so wonderful and probably the most rewarding surgery a person can ever have!!! The drains were the worst part but the results are so amazing!!! Congrats on your new body and it just gets better and better from here!! Hugs, Tina
I used Dr. Songcharoen at the Plastics and Hand Center...Several of his partners were recommended (Davidson, Blevins, Mani Sundaram) but I chose Dr. Song because of his experience with trauma (and he's been doing this for 45 years!) though I'm not sure just how much cosmetic stuff he does (honestly I didn't ask him how much of his practice is for cosmetics vs. necessity). So that's something to consider when you're talking to plastics.
I'm anxious to see final results when swelling goes down...so far i'm THRILLED. :)
I used Dr William Reno at the Plastic Surgery Center in Hattiesburg. I LOVED him!!! Hes a perfectionist and drives the others nuts there but thats the kind of Dr I like!! haha He is also easy on the eyes which dosent hurt either *wink*. When you meet him you feel like you have known him forever as he is so easy to talk to unlike some drs that have such a dry personality. Anyway, I have before and after pics if you want to see any.
