Hi and welcome to the site!  I am still a pre-op and have a date on june 11.  Insurance is taking care of mine, but when I went to the seminar at CMMC, they spoke about the self pay prices.  I would contact CMMC about that.  Have you attended a seminar yet? Good luck with your quest Focusing on the Positive,  Tracey

You might also try Dr. David Carroll (601-366-6606)  He does the lap band and the RNY and has some self-pay deals too.  He uses River Oaks Hospital (which does offer discount if you pay cash--though you have to pay up front or make arrangements prior to surgery). I was self-pay...so I feel your pain.  :)  I'm about to be self-pay for plastics on Tuesday...  the end to my journey, i hope.  then i can just live life. mary

You need to talk to Adam Dungey about this.  However, I was self-pay, and the total cost of my surgery was $24,300, whi*****luded all the expenses (hospital stay, doctor fee, operating room, etc.) directly associated with the surgery.  Having said that, insurance did pay for the psychologist and a lot of the preliminary testing:  the doctors I used were able to file under something else.  (It wasn't a lie - these tests related to my heart, diabetes, other conditions that were legit.)   I don't know anything about Dr. Carroll, but I was impressed with both Doctors Cleveland and Cummins, and the staff at CMMC.   Good luck.  I know that there are ways to finance the operation.   Even though my surgery was mid-April, I'm very glad I did it.
