Are you moving.........
Are you moving to lose or to stay healthy? I have been exercising since I was cleared after surgery. And it has become habit now. And I really do enjoy it. So what did you do today? I ran two miles and did 30 minutes of weight training. Give me some good ideas for exercises. I always like to try new things. I have done step aerobics and kickboxing. But Tuesday night I did a combo class and that was the bomb. It was a step, jump, and jab class. It was a mixture of stepping and kickboxing. It was definitely a workout. Melissa
I am bike riding. Try to get in at least 2 miles a day. This is with a 3 year old in the childseat. ;-) I'm so proud of myself! Doing the gym just does not interest me, plus I can't afford it! LOL ;-) My hubby is getting out and riding with me alot. So hopefully he'll start seeing some benefits too! ;-)
Our goal is to get up to 50 mile rides. Hit some trails, etc.... I will say that riding on rough terrain is definately harder. We are riding the bikes to the grocery store for quick pick-ups etc. We cut across fields etc. Very tiring on the legs. But if I'm street riding I could do 5 miles easy. The main reason I'm doing it is because I've reached the point where I REALLY need a thigh lift. Figured I'd try this first. It's much cheaper! LOL I feel so good after I ride. HUGS K
I am doing a mixture of stair climbing at work, bike riding at home and walking when I feel like it. I always make sure that I do something once a day in the excerise area. I find that changing it up keeps it from getting boring for me! Still not doing as much as I should be but I am up and moving every day!
