Where are you in your journey

Hi Melissa! It has been quite a while since I had a look at the board.  Funny because it has been a lifeline for me in my journey.  I will be 2 years out on June 28th, and have lost 100 pounds.  I wear a size 12, 32 waist pants and a SMALL in dresses.  I am down to goal weight and have remained there for the past 12 months.  I have had bloodwork done every 3 to 6 months and all is normal with no problems.  I still have problems with how much to eat, and sometimes pay the price for overeating! I would guess that I am a compulsive eater because I eat when stressed or nervous.  It is definately psychological!  But, sugar still makes me sick and I dump! Yuck! I feel so much better than before and can walk long distances, climb several flights of stairs without breathing hard.  I am not going to have plastics, although if I wanted to wear a two piece swimsuit or short shorts, I would need it!  But I am happy with how I am now, small enough and look good in my clothes.  I just had my feet operated on to correct bone abnormalities (from all the weight all those years, I am sure)  Right foot almost healed but the left was just done June 1st.  Am looking forward to wearing sexy shoes at the end of the summer. We will be moving home this summer, so hope I will be on the board more and plan to attend some support meetings! I am so glad that I went ahead with my surgery, it has been a new life for me! Love to you all!!! Cheryl

Hi everybody!   Im a little backwards here because I had my plastics done first!!    I had a tummy tuck and breast lift with implants done about 2 yrs ago and 5 weeks ago I had the gastric vertical sleeve done by Dr Bellanger in Baton Rouge.   So far I have lost 26 lbs in 5 weeks and I am loving it !!!    I had found this board looking to have the lap band but ended up learing about the sleeve and decided to do that instead.   Anway,  I hope to pop in often,  you all seem like a wonderful group.    Tina :)
