What a concept!

Did you know that if you follow the pouch rules, you will not gain any weight? What a concept! I gained about 10 pounds, some of which I was trying to gain and then through mom's surgery and travels and gained the rest. I was REALLY worried about how quickly and easily I gained the weight. Summer is here and I really wanted to get that little bit off. Followed the rules and had it off within a week. Have kept it off now for several weeks. I'm just SO relieved to know that the tool is still working and that I am not destined to be a 300 pounder again! How is everyone? Vacation plans for summer? What's going on with you all? Kimberly, That is so awesome!!! I can't wait till I'm in your shoes.. My plans for the summer is to hopefully be able to have surgery in either July or August. Other than that, just a wedding at the beginning of July in Kentucky. so that will be a little mini vacation. My sister-in-law is coming back with us from the wedding for the rest of the summer, she is only 13, so I'm hoping that I'll get to have my surgery while she is here to help my hubby out with my son. other than that not much going on here in Biloxi... april*

Which pouch rules are you refering to? Glad you are back on here, haven't seen you lately. I have a question and I'm sure you can answer me. I'm obviously a slow looser I'm 5 1/2 weeks post op and have lost 28lbs. What's up with that? OK OK I know I haven't gotten nearly enough protein and the water intake hasn't been up to par either but I'm getting more than half what is suggested and I really don't eat much at all. So what gives? Why am I loosing so much slower than the other post I see? Oh, and did I mention I've been walking everyday. I want so bad to use the ab lounger but it still looks painful to me...ha when do you think I can do that kind of thing? See what happens when you show back up on here. I bombard you with questions. Sorry, but you are the pro right?

Jan,    Sorry I've been MIA lately.  My life has gone from hectic to INSANE!  ;-)  But, the rules are just the basics.... eat protein first, quit snacking, etc...  Especially don't drink with meals.  Wait 30 minutes afterwards.    As far as your WL... I think you are doing just fine!  Have you seen the scales moving again?  If not, try eating fish.  I eat it almost everyday for lunch and it has worked wonders for me.  Just don't get it too dry or it'll get stuck. 

Give me a call if you need me.  It's usually the easiest way to reach me these days. 601-898-4778 (h)  or 601-951-0568 (c) HUGS K ps... as far as the ab lounger... don't try anything you don't feel comfortable with.  I would think you'd need to wait a good 6-8 weeks before doing anything too strenuous!
