Lump in Breast Again

I had outpatient surgery again today to remove another lump. It was the size of a grape. I found it about two weeks ago. Today was the best day to take off to get it out. This is now my third one. I hope to dodge the ""C"" word again. I have yet one more reason to be thankful for WLS!!! And breast lift. I would never have found it at 400 lbs. I want to remind every one again to do regular breast exams. I saw a vascular surgeon Friday about painful veins in my legs. He said I should lose twenty more lbs by exercising to strenghten the muscles and tone up. He suggested a stationary bike. He said the veins would improve as circulation improved. But they are ugly. You know for once I did not cry about the suggestion 20 lbs!!! When you have been as lucky as I have to have LOST 240/250 LBS. I just agreed that I should exercise. He said the former weight had supported the skeletal muscles. Makes sense to me. I will chat more another day. I am sleepy again. I am going to take advantage of the residual anestia (spelled wrong). glenda

i'm sorry to hear of your lump--but glad that you were observant enough to find it! good luck with steering clear of the big "C"...i'll keep you in my prayers. I'm also thankful for my WLS. I'm down 115 pounds...and have my own breast lift/tummy tuck/thigh lift scheduled!!!! i'm so excited....can ya tell? sleep well.

So sorry to hear about the lump. God is good and will never mistreat us though. I know you have already been so blessed. I need to schedule a mamogram. The big "40" is when they like to start and that is where I am at---sigh. Let us know how the report turns out, okay? Love ya Jane

Glenda, Keep us posted! You are in my prayers! It's such a scary thing-- I just can't imagine going through it again and again. Keep your chin up (sounds as if it is) and keep the faith. We're here for ya! HUGS Kimberly
