Anyone have UHC insurance?

I have UHC and was denied because my Dr's office didn't send my five year weight history. Here's my question - I haven't been over 40 BMI for five years, but I have been over 35, with high blood pressure. Is there any chance they'll approve me if I appeal? Has anyone had this situation?

Usually, if you are denied because of lack of paperwork, you can just submit the paper work requested and then they will approve. I know some on here who have written their own and just had the doc sign it. Depends on how well you know the doc. Have you actually spoken to the insurance company? I was denied, but only because they needed one more piece of paper. Sent it, was approved in 2 weeks. Granted, I don't have the same insurance as you, but from other's experience, NEVER give up. Just keep trying, even if it means finding another doc who will work FOR you. I ended up using my Gynocologist. Whatever works right? HUGS K
