my surgery day today was a nightmare! :'(

i went to the hospital this morning prepared for gastric bypass. guess what, my dr. came in the room talking with me and my husband and they got into a argument. so the dr. wouldnt do my surgery. i cried my eyes out. i put my husband through hell today over it but the dr. deserved everything he got, my husband was only looking out for me and my dr. was and always has been a ass.now i wish i had let my husband whip his ass. he has a very bad bedside manor. but im so depressed that my day was ruined now i have to go to another dr. and will be about july before i get my surgery now. this was my worst day ever. if there is anyone in here to goes to dr. george woodman in memphis they must know what i mean.

Do you have another doctor in mind? That is just so aweful. I'm SO sorry that happened, but perhaps there is a master plan behind it all. Hang in there and vent here. We've got your back! HUGS K

So sorry you didn't get your sugery, but if the surgeon is like you describe maybe it is for the best anyway. Everything happens for a reason, and maybe God knew you didn't need that ass of a doctor. Things work out for us in God's time, and you will find another surgeon and your day will come. And when it does you will appreciate it all the more for having been through all you have been through. I have only heard bad things about him. He doesn't care at all for his patients. I had the best Dr. in Memphis. Dr. Virgina Weaver at St. Francis. She is awesome. Contact her at the Memphis Surgery center. Where do you live? I live in Southaven. Good luck, Janet

thank you for your info. i have contacted dr, weaver. she is not working right now but will be back in the office in june. it will be nice having a nice dr. i got my packet from them today and will send it in tomorrow. where do you live i live in southaven at the corner of chruch and getwell in roseburry estates

Sorry things went so bad with Dr Woodman .I used Dr Virginia Weaver from Saint Francis . Like janice i think she is awsome . You wont be dissapointed with her or her staff.Give her a try

i hate my day was ruined.all i have done is cry my eyes out. yes i am going to dr. weaver. im excited about her cause i was always dreading to see dr. woodman. hes such a ass. none of his patients like him. all you hear when you go into his office is how hes so mean and folks are scared if they havent lost the weight. he did lap band on me and it got infected so he took it out. anyways i appreciate everyone on here who has listened to me whine about my terrible day.

Honey, that's not whining - that's stuff people need to know about - I mean, it sounds like he is just in it for the money or something, just not fit to be doing this, or maybe he is just a very good surgeon with absolutely NO bedside manner - whatever - I know that must be very frustrating, but you'll see it will all work out so much better going to someone you can have respect for and trust. It will be worth the change in the long run. You just come here with any complaints or questions or anything you need to. DeAnna

hi there, hey i need your help. i went to my nutrician class and i have to do a three day pureed menu. i am trying to get it done while i am off work but i dont know if i add my proteine shakes to the menu? i did the menu's with 4 oz of pureed food and with my shakes being 8 oz mainly in between the 6 meal a day. how is this done can you please help me? thanks. i am in southaven too. great town, until you get out on goodman rd. hehe .
