Meridian support group meeting

Hello Everyone !!! Well I believe spring time has arrived - finally !! I know I'm happy for pretty weather - as I'm sure you all are. We will have our monthly support group meeting at the same location in Meridian - East Mississippi Electric Power Association - auditorium at 5:30 pm - Monday - April 2, 2007. Please use the south side door as before - to enter the lobby & then to the auditorium. We had a good meeting last month - with the usual comical banter between certain ones ..... I love you all & am always glad to see your sweet faces - even tho they get slimmer each month !! But thats a GOOD thing - huh ?! Billy Ray told us all that he will be moving soon - so I DO hope he will still try & make the meetings - it just wouldn't be the same without his humor & he has done soooo well - we NEED him for inspiration !! We have been missing some of our regular's tho - & hope they will try & come back soon. I probably need YA"LL more than you need ME !! That support is really important - to keep me on the straight & narrow - but I also know its hard to pick a day - when EVERYONE can come - no matter what. We all have those obligations - we must keep & I DO understand. We just miss ya'll !! I will fix some chicken salad & crackers & something to drink - and if someone else would like to surprise us with something "legal" that's sweet - that would be welcomed too. The desert Kathy brought & the sherbert (spelling ?) bars Pat brought were GREAT ! I really need to think of something different to fix besides chicken salad - I don't want to "burn ya'll out" on it, so I'll work on that maybe next month. I also want to get another speaker to join us. I just enjoy us all talking & sharing - because it lets you know that you aren't the only one going through certain things - you can't IMAGINE anyone else going through - but to liven things up - I will work on asking someone else to come & speak to us. If any of you - have any suggestions on a speaker - I would welcome the information. I will go for now - This was just a reminder & if you all know of ANYONE - who would be interested in coming to our support group meetings - even if they haven't had the surgery & just want to ask questions - please invite them - ALL are welcome !! Also, if someone would be kind enough to post this on the Obesity Help site & anywhere else - who might be interested - I would appreciate it so much. Hey Stef.. I am going to try and make the meeting. Sam has me on the schedule to work truck..so there is nooooo telling what time I will get off. If im there at 530 I am going to see if i can take my lunch from 530-630. If not tell everyone hi and hope to see them in May. Hope you had a great weekend girl talk to yall soon. Hugs Missie
