Another Beth update...

Well, I went to see her last night. Boy, she's been through it! She having some respiratory problems, but they are expected to diminish as the swelling goes down. As far as the surgery, they band had moved up very high, causing alot of problems and so this was a needed surgery. She's really been hit with a double whammy, so keep her in your prayers. I'm going to call in a little while and check on things. She was allowed her first ice chips around 7:30 last night. The leak test went well, but there was still so much swelling that Dr. C didn't want to give her any fluids yet. So.... she enjoyed having that wet something in her mouth. Alot of nausea of course, I'm suspecting it's from the morphine more so than the surgery. Anyway, now you know what I know....
