multifamily yard sale Reservoir Area

Just a quick post to say that myself and some neighbors are having a yard sale tomorrow morning. Riverchase Subdivision (Spillway end of Old Fannin Road). Lots of misc. stuff. Men, ladies, kids (boy) clothes. Some knick knack house stuff. lots of junk. haha.

What size boys clothes?????

sorry i missed this post before the sale! i had mostly size 4 and size 5...but it sold. I have lots of mens' work shirts (long and short sleeve), lots of womens clothes and odds and ends left. I'd like to donate it to a good christian distribution center. when i've donated to the salvation army in the past, i've seen my stuff back in the thrift shop---and i'd really like it to be used by someone *****ally needs it. like a church wiht a clothing closet or something..... anyone have any ideas?

I"m not aware of any church's that have a clothes closet in the area. You may try calling Well's united methodist in Jackson. They may have something, or know of one. Also try calling the First Baptist. As far as your things ending up back in the thrift shops, I wouldn't feel too guilty about it. The Goodwill and Salvation army use that money for good things. They employ people who are otherwise mostly unemployable (sp?) and they help families pay bills etc... So the money they earn from your donations goes to a good cause. Hope this helps... HUGS Kimberly
