Meridian support group meeting

Subject: Gastric Bypass Support Group Meeting @ E.M.E.P.A. auditorium 5:30pm - Monday 3/5/07 Hey You'se Guy's !!! Hope you've all had a GREAT month & are getting ready to tackle a new one. Looks like March DID come in like a LION !!! (Don' t like this bad weather we've been having - especially in the power company business !!) I thought we had a real good gathering in February at our last support group meeting. Lots of NEW news to share & some new ones who've had surgery too. I don't know if ya'll are like me or not - but I just wanna sit down with some folks I see out in Walmart or the grocery store - who look like I USED to look - just to share my story & to give them HOPE ! But as you can probably guess - there are people out there - you just couldn't do that with. We have such a good, caring group of people in our support system & I KNOW ya'll are spreading the "good news" when ever & where ever you can. Just KNOW that ANYONE is welcome to join us --- even if they haven't had the Gastric Bypass Surgery. We had a young lady who joined us at our February meeting - just as we were winding it up - who had a different kind of Weight Loss Surgery - I think she called it the Gastric Sleeve ??? I am anxious to hear more about her experience & all about the difference in her surgery & the regular Gastric Bypass Surgery. I will have us some good ole chicken salad & crakers & drink -- & if someone would like to bring something sweet & legal - that would be nice. Also - can someone please post this on the Obesity Help site & anywhere else - it would do some good - I sure would appreciate it. I love you all & appreciate your loyalty. Hey Stef, I went to he meeting for a little bit..I asked prisciall if i could hav emy lunch from 530-630 but ended up going at 6..lol Shannon was there so i had to wait till i got the line down..lol but it was good..wasnt there long but wanted to go and touch base wit the group. I really enjoy going ot the meetings when i get to. Well girll off to work at the store talk to you soon.. Hugs Missie
