Still Kickin'
Hey sweet folks! I am still out here sommers.....I am going to the Y 6 days a week for 2 1/2 hours of water stuff. On M-W-F, I do 2 classes of arthritic water aerobics and one class of Aqua Fit. On T-Th, I do one class of each and 45 minutes of walking, etc, in the water and Saturday, one or two classes of whatever goes on.... You guys are NOT GONNA believe this, but I did 2 classes Tuesday and 500 jumping jacks!!! Yesterday, I did 2 classes AND 700 jumping jacks. My weight is still going up and down those 5 lbs, but at this rate I expect wake up one morning and be invisible! I LOVE water aerobics!!!
Jim has been having some problems....He had his surgery to put his port or stent or whatever you call it in for dialysis. He will start dialysis in about 6 weeks - as soon as his incision heals. He did fine thru the surgery, but the 2nd day out, he started getting a heaviness and hurting in his chest as well as a bad headache. He had a sore throat from the time we woke up from the surgery. He was very apprehensive about this surgery which really rattled me. We went back to the Doc - you know I was thinking either pneumonia or heart attack - and they said it wasn't pneumonia or brochitious, but he has a bacterial infection in his chest. He is on boat loads of antibodics. He did go back to work Wed - just dragging, but he is much better now. The 2nd day after surgery, I was afraid to leave the house and leave him alone. The 3rd day after, HE was afraid for me to leave the house.....But it is much, much better now. My nerves or emotions are up and down..... I feel kinda like I live with a ticking bomb.....
For your Meridianites and close to Meridian folks, Jon will be in the Orchestra pit of the MCC production, "Big River" - the Huckleberry Finn musical. He will be playing the 6 string and 12 string guitar as well as the mandolin. I will let you know the exact dates, but I think it is in April. He also go into the guitar quartet at MCC.
Em just gets more beautiful by the minute! She has a formal ball coming up for JROTC and we are SEARCHING for a dress. (Size 2 to 4 and for a very modest young lady.....it ain't easy....)
I apologize profusely for my inactivity on board. I think of you guys all the time. I am struggling in alot of ways and it gives me lots of comfort knowing I have such wonderful folks out there rootin' for me and my family. Please know that I do not mean to slight you guys. I tend to get very, very quiet from time to time....esp when things are getting scarey with Jim. So keep me in your prayers and know that I love each and every one of you dearly!
Smoochies and very many hugs
Arlies
PS My bestest buddy is having a tuff time at his house too - alot of you know the story- so I am struggling along with him too. I don't know how he does it, what with what he has to put up with. And then he still has it in him to be a rock for Jim and I.
I love you much ! and will be praying for Jim, peace of mind and such as well as health.
It is so wonderful to see your exercise progress - I love the water too...Will probably start seeing you on Friday mornings - that's the day I plan to be in the water. The other days, I hope to be on the eliptical and other stuff...
