Has anyone else had ...
I had laparoscopic RNY, and remember some "pulling" or pain around the deepest puncture wound which is also where the sutures in my stomach were, for a while (months), but not pain where I thought I was "dying". You CERTAINLY should call your doctor if your pain is that bad.
Did your doctor say you should be walking? Walking and moving, even through the pain, if your doctor has released you to be walking, is the MOST important thing you can do for yourself along with drinking plenty of water even if you have to just sip sip sip all during the day, will help with pain more than you can imagine. I had to just push a small pillow against the painful spot on my stomach when getting up and down to walk.
Hopefully you have called your doctor by now if the pain is that bad, but I have certainly learned that walking and drinking water are the best things for recovery that you can do for yourself.
