How does everyone do with pasta?? I'm 6 months out as of yesterday and I have eaten small amounts of mac & cheese before, but that is as far as I have taken it. I'm just wondering if anyone has had trouble with pasta, specifically egg noodles and spaghetti. Karine

Hi Karine, Um,,yes I have eaten the barilla pasta in spaghetti,,the whole grain pasta, and it was ok, but I was mindful of it because of the carb issue. But I do pasta before mashed taters anyday,,them things make me hungrier!! I have never had trouble with pasta, but sometimes the fats in some of the sauces or sugars in them make me kinda feel yuckey..I can do 3 bits of anything tho....good luck, just take it slow!!

I eat the Barilla pasta because it is fortified with extra protein. One cup has 17 grams. It tastes good too. I have found that the penne and rotini sit a little heavy, and I do better with the angel hair and egg noodles. Melissa

I want to try the shirataki noodles, but I'm kind of hesitant. I also love Dreamfields pasta, which has less carbs in it. I can't find it in Wal-Mart or Kroger anymore, but I found where you can buy it on www.netrition.com Brandi :~)

Three years out and pasta, bread, scrambled eggs, meats still give me discomfort. Meats that are dry or grainy feel like they stop up my food tube. glenda

Spaghetti was very difficult for me. I just couldn't chew it well enough. I know that sounds strange, but it would always come back up whole! LOL (TMI I know!) Anyway, just try, and see what works. All other pastas have done well for me... in moderation of course. HUGS K

I, of course, can eat them all with no problem, just avoid somewhat because of calorie content. I will be picking up some Barilla for the extra protein now. DeAnna
