Where is everyone on the board?

Hey Precious! Guess everyone has just been so busy lately they have not been able to post like normal. As for the Nashville Retreat, I won't be able to go because right now my time is spent going back and forth from the nursing home. My grandmother had a stroke on Dec. 3rd and is having to do therapy at the nursing home - hopefully we only have two more weeks and we can finally bring her home. On top of that my Daddy has been having chest pains and the doctors don't know what brought them on. They said his heart looks good and it doesn't appear that he has had a heart attack... just don't know! So I have to stay close by until I get my family back on track! lol Love ya, Marci

I miss the good ole days myself. We used to have a ball on here and had some really great discussions and such. All of the old crew is pretty much gone now. I don't know what happened to them all. We were a pretty active group on here for a long while. Christine and I planned that big bash at Kamper Park here in Hattiesburg complete with T-shirts and prizes. Then we had a luncheon every couple of months or so. We also had that big bash at Roosevelt State Park that Arlies planned that lasted the whole weekend. That was lots of fun too. It is not just on here that things have gotten slow, but our local support group has dwindled down too. We only have about 4 or 5 people that show up regularly now. We used to have as many as 20 or 30. I guess everyone is just so busy. I know I can relate. I have been really busy and I don't get to get on here as much as I used to. How have you been doing? I don't see you on here much anymore either. I hope all is well. I would love to go to an OH retreat or conference and meet all the people I post back and forth with on the main board and on our graduates board. But I just don't think I can squeeze it in right now. Melissa

Hey Glenda!! How ya doin? I'm interested in the Nashville thing. I have a cousin in Nashville who also had WLS. I'm going to talk to her about it. I'm also going to have to find out from the family if there is a reunion planned this summer... etc etc... Anyway, if I go I'll stay with her. We'll talk more on it later.... HUGS K
