Need some info

I had posted a while back about surgery in Mexico and apparently no one here has had that done, because no one answered... Did everyone's insurance pay for their surgery? Did anyone have United Healthcare?

I don't know of anyone on this board that has had surgery in Mexico. Sonya Sumrall had hers done in Columbia and had a great experience. So, maybe you could contact her. She would be more than happy to talk to you and share her experience. She has a post further down the page. Send her an email. I had a friend who had United Healthcare, and they paid for her surgery. But that was a couple of years ago or so. And I believe she had to hurry and squeeze it in before the year ended that year because they were changing how or if they would cover it anymore. Good luck. Vicky, My initial surgery was done in Mexico. My advice is don't go. If you have problems, like I did it will end up costing you more than if you had the surgery in the USA. Just my 2 cents worth. I had to learn the hard way and I would hate for anyone to go through what I've had to endure. Vivian
