I didn't have lap band but I just wanted to wish you luck. The weight loss journey can be a difficult one even with surgery. I see you are from Alabama. I am originally from Alabama myself. I actually went to college in Montgomery. I went to AUM. Melissa

Hold on Sweetie!! I have enough strength for all of us and I can certainly carry you until you have enough strength to stand on your own. I have been through h*ll with my lap band and I can tell you that finally I am having great success. I am so proud of my band and my success it is hard to put in words. You didn't say why you were depressed but I've been there too and can tell you that you must exercise patience with a lap band. It is a finicky little thing and once you hit that sweet spot you will begin to lose weight steadily. I didn't think I was ever going to lose more than 20 lbs and I was so disappointed and disgusted with myself for spending all of that money on a complete failure. Now it is working as it should have worked all along and I couldn't be happier. I am very possessive of my band and would fight like a wild animal if anyone came near it. My emergency contact information in my wallet authorizes only 1 surgeon to touch my band. If I'm in an accident out-of-state they are instructed to consult with my surgeon and fly me home. I am serious about my lap band and who can touch it. When your band starts working for you, you will become possessive as well. Hang it there. The Lap Band does work. Write to me at [email protected] and I'll cheer you on. Vivian
