Bad news....
Seems like all I do anymore is bring bad news to the board....well, here's the latest....
Jim went to the urologist this week. He now has an appointment for Jan 22 with a surgeon to discuss and set up a date to put a port in for dialysis.....And to top it off, when he told his boss, all his boss had to say was, "How's this going to effect your work at the bank?" He is very depressed....I am frantic...Please pray.

Arlis:
God has reminded me of several of his promises lately, including "I will NEVER leave thee nor forsake thee" and "The battle is not mine, but the Lord's". He's in control of everything that happens to us - good and bad. Just put your trust in Him, sweetie, He's not gonna let you down!
Love ya!

Dearest Arlies,
I am so sorry to hear this news, and I know that you are so worried. Jim's boss sounds like a real scrooge! Let's ALL go and give him a swift kick up the seat of his pants #*@!!!!
Tell Jim to hang in there! This is gonna be a big go, but the bright side is that there are some mighty pretty nurses who work in the dialysis clinic. My dad enjoyed his visits with them when he went for treatments. I will pray that things improve and that God sends some extraordinary good blessings for someone who deserves a shower of them! Love you and keep up your chin.....

Oh Arlies, I am so sorry to hear the king is so sick. I know this must be so hard for you guys. And to top it all off he works for someone so insensitive who obviously lacks compassion. That makes it all worse. I will definitely pray for you guys. I think I may even say a little prayer for his boss that the Lord may touch his heart and soften it a bit. Good luck and keep us posted.
