Looking for an Angel

Hi, I'm looking for an . I'm not too worried about age or gender or anything like that. I'd prefer somebody in the Brookhaven/McComb or Pearl/Brandon area, but it's not a necessity. Me: I'm 23, pretty easy going, shy and quiet until I get to know you... then you can't shut me up! j/k. My surgery is in less than a month and I'm pretty anxious, second guessing everything I think I know. Um, I post a good bit in my OH journal and I've got the interests area filled out, so you can glance at that and kinda see what I'm like. Somebody else was looking for an angel in my previous post, so if anybody could help her out too, that would be cool. Do you think we should post on the main board as well?

Hi Tara... I wouldn't worry about posting on the main board. I personally would prefer an angel that is close by and you're able to talk to them without running up your phone bill... lol. Just so you know, this board will always be here for you to help you out in any way. If I had the time, I would be your angel in a heartbeat!! My life is pretty hectic these days and I don't feel right dedicating what time I do have to something as serious as WLS. But, please, if you want, you can email me anytime. I check my email several times a day and I would be glad to answer any questions you may have prior and after WLS. Good luck on your journey!! You'll be in my thoughts.... Karine

Where are you having surgery? Have you gone to any of the support group meetings around here? CMMC? DeAnna

Well, just read your other post and see you are having it in Baton Rouge....how are we supposed to check on you there - JK - ha - by phone I'm sure. DeAnna

Haha, yeah, the phone part is covered. My family is going to keep Coffeegod updated. The coordinator is supposed to set me up with a support group in the Jackson area.

Cool - I did not have surgery in Jackson, but I go to the support meeting at CMMC and get lots of benefit from that group. It is the 2nd Tuesday of each month at, I believe, 7:00. DeAnna
