Momma must brag!!!

Jon had a guitar competition yesterday at William Carey in Hattiesburg - like most good Mommas I found out after it was over.....He won 2nd place!!! He is now an award winning guitarist!!! GO, Jon, GO!!! 3 guys from MCC went and all three won. Dan won 1st, Jon won 2nd and another guy won first in the"adult" competition. Jon and Dan were in the student competition - all three are students at MCC, but the one guy is older and has been taking guitar for 10 years..... Mr. Brantley, the guitar teacher, now KNOWS he is hot stuff!! He has 3 award winning students! smoochies Arlies PS I am a proud Momma....

way to go jon! thats' awesome. i so enjoyed listening to that band last year--do you know of any concerts this year? please post if you do. i love live music--and i'm trying to develop a love for it for my little one, too--give him that appreciation.
