hi all im new to ms ive moved from troy al tkingo rienzi im looking for a suport group and some new friends too,my surgery was dec 10th 2003, ive lost most of my weight ,but im working on those hard to loose pounds now ,thanks bob aka moogydad

Hey - welcome aboard - We have a luncheon next Saturday in the Jackson area (Flowood) at Fernandos near the reservoir spillway. Otherwise, in this area we have a support group meeting at CMMC Hospital the second tuesday of each month. This month's was a Christmas party on the 2nd, so no meeting this month. I think UMC has a meeting on the second Tuesday also. Otherwise, we are here for each other too, so join right in. Sometimes the posting is a little slow, especially around this time of year, but usually a few of us around. DeAnna

Hey Robert, Welcome! My brother used to live in Troy. He was the manager of the A&P around 1976. He got a divorce and moved to Enterprise. He was manager of the IGA and met his present wife there. They now live in Sylacauga. His wife's father,Robert Oliver had several business' in Troy I think. he died about three years ago. Any way the point is "it is a small world".
