Finally!!!

I just got a call from Lori at UMC. They told me that my surgery will be the second week in January and that I"ll discuss the exact day at my pre-op appointment next week on the 12th. I've waited a long time for this news and I feel like doing a jig. It's been such a long and hard road, but the wait has given me the opportunity to research, read books, and get to know real life experiences of others. Thanks Joyce, for all your kind words and help during this ridiculous waiting period! This must be what it feels like to win the lottery! Brandi :~)

OMG I am so excited for you. I know that you wanted to before chirstmas but just think about it like this....You still get to start on a new year the right way. I am so excited and girl u better believe that I will be there for you.

I'm so happy for you - I was wondering the other day when I saw you post what was up with your surgery.....It is well worth the wait! Keep us posted! and we are a pretty close group here, if you need someone to stay with you while at UMC, just let us know - we have been known to take shifts there. DeAnna

Cheryl:: Thanks!!!!!! Christmas present, Birthday, Valentines Day, Anniversary, etc all rolled into one. Joyce:: You're gonna have to be there to calm Josh (my hubby) down, lol. You know how crazy he gets. Thank you so much for all you've done. I couldn't have gotten through the waiting without you these last few months. Deanna:: Thanks for offering up your time. I'm pretty sure my hubby will be able to be there for the full time, as long as I'm not in there for more than 4 days. My mom and dad are school teachers with lots of days built up, so they'll be able to help out as well. I'll being hoping and praying that it's not longer than that, but we all know what the risks are. I was so excited on the phone with Lori, I thought I was going to pee on myself. I've been sitting back and thinking......I just never thought my day would finally come. I never thought I'd finally get to hear those words, "You've been approved for surgery!!" Brandi :~)

Honey u will love this. I am 3 years from mine an have lost 175 pounds an now i am ready for platice surgery. I cant fine anyone in ms that i can trust. an Most dont take Medicare and Medicaid.
