Time for ROLL-CALL!!!!!!!!!
haha. that's okay--I was so aggravated with myself after posting that yesterday...ashamed that I hadn't gotten myself to the gym (which is something I should've been doing all along)....but the good news is that I started today! I joined the Reservoir YMCA and actually did 20 minutes on the elliptical and then 20 minutes on the bike. I figured for someone who has done *no* exercise that it was a good start. I haven't fallen out yet.
anyway...do call me anytime. work is so busy, though, it's going to be late evening before i get to the gym im' sure.
take care!
So, something got you motivated - yeah ! 20 minutes on the elliptical is wonderful, I just now can do that - had to build up to that one. We are at the reservoir Y usually on Mon an Thur nights for karate.
See ya there (and will call sometime - maybe after the Holidays but will call!)
Any chance you are coming to the lunch next Saturday?

Hey Rhonda,
You have been a great help to me over the past year with so many good suggestions and hints! I guess we all are beginning to move on with life especially after reaching goal and becomming more comfortable with our "new" self. It is quite an adjustment!
and I am with you, would not hesitate to do it all again, my regret is that I didnt do it 10 years ago!!!
Hugs,
Cheryl
Hey Ya'll!
I had lap rny on 04/03/06. preop wgt 285 current wgt 181 goal 160. I think it's important not to eat and drink with meals. I also have not had any carbonated beverages. I drink lots of lipton diet green tea and flavored water. I hope to reach goal by my 1 year anniversary. I started out clothes size 24 and some 26's now wearing 12-14 bottoms and med-large tops and down a shoe size! This surgery has been life saving for me.

You are looking so great and almost at goal! Way to go!!!! Sticking to the diet is the key to success that is for sure. It is funny, now things I used to like a lot, do not appeal to me anymore. It truly is a lifestyle change and I wonder how I could have let myself eat the things that I used to eat, and the amounts! Lordy, makes me sick to think about it now..... Enjoy shopping! It is so great to buy small sizes and even new undies!
Smiles,
Cheryl
