Counting Down ... 14 days to go...
Hello again!
I went for my preadmissions, lab work, etc., yesterday in Oxford. I started my liquid diet this morning and will do my 'colon' cleansing the day before surgery. I won't know what time my surgery is scheduled for December 1st until I call the afternoon before (after 4pm).
I also finally had an opportunity to meet Ms. Becky Wilson - the coordinator of bariatric surgery for the surgical clinic. She is a terrific and inspirational person!!
The next weeks will entail preparing lesson plans, etc. for my sub at school; making sure my children have necessities, etc. during my stay in the hospital; etc. etc. etc.
I think I am excited ... ????
s keep you safe!!

*** Did I say "thanks" again??? For EVERYONE who have been an encouragement ...either by what you have said to me directly OR what you have posted to everyone ...means a lot!!!
Well, congrats - We will certainly be praying for you. I know it is exciting and scary at the same time...You'll be glad once the first few days are over, just get up and get walking as soon as they say you can, don't make them have to tell you but once!! When you get that blood moving through your veins you can start healing.
I agree, Becky Wilson is just a blessing in disguise. They do have the best office staff in the world there (Dr. King's office).
Post and keep us updated.
