Stephens doing better

Thank you guys for all the thoughts and concerns for my son. He is doing much better. Hard to believe the injury resulted from a little football game out in the yard. The doctor said his concussion ranked right up there with those that NFL football players get. So, he hit his head pretty darn hard when he got tackled. I guess Mama is gonna have to make some rules for these rough housing boys playing football out in the yard. I swear. Boys will be boys, but makes me a wreck. He scared me to death. He didn't even know who he was where he lived - nothing! He didn't even remember hitting his head. He wouldn't even let me in the house when I got home from work cause he didn't know who I was. I didn't know he had hit his head and he didn't remember it so I didn't know what was wrong. My sis got his cell phone and started calling his friends so we could figure out what happened to him so we would know what to tell the doctor in the ER once we got there. So, he was very lucky. I still can't believe his friends let him go home knowing he had hit his head like he did. They said he said he was fine just wanted to go home and lie down. He got lost coming home cause he couldn't remember where he lived. The Lord was looking out for him that is for sure. Bless his heart. I hate I missed the lunch and getting to meet those I haven't met yet and visit with those I do know. But maybe next time I won't have a crisis come up and I can make it. I am glad ya'll had fun.
