I hate I missed it! I had plans to come, but ended up having to go down to Jones County to see my grandmother--she hasn't been doing well since my dad died. maybe next time... mary

I have LOTS of relatives in Jones county---actually, 2 of my aunts live down there and are all involved (or retired from) the school system. Hilda (Sis) Woodward (I think she was at JCJC maybe) Pat Turner (not sure what she did in the schools) her daughter Stacey Butler is a teacher @ west laurel/west jones somethingoranother. but to answer your question--my grandmother is Lorene Shows. She lives out of Ovett. Between Ovett and Richton. AKA the sticks. That's where my dad grew up, and that's where we buried him when he died a couple of months ago. would love to meet ya, though glenda. maybe we can make plans sometime. I keep having such good intentions wtih the luncheons, but haven't made one yet! mary
