Luncheon this Saturday!!! Be there or be square...

Hi Everyone... Just letting everyone know about the plans for this Saturday's luncheon. This was Meghan's wonderful idea and I am not taking this idea from her or anything, but she is out of town and I wanted to help out. I have called Golden Corral to reserve a room. Here are the details... Golden Corral 988 Top Street Flowood, MS (601) 420-9990 Golden Corral is right off Lakeland Drive behind BankPlus, Taco Bell and near Antonelli College. Top Street runs parallel with Lakeland Drive. They do not have "private rooms", but there will be about 15-20 places set up in Room #3 which is the Flowood Board Room. The room holds about 65 people, but they will set up the tables for us in the back. Lunch is not served until 11:00am, so I say we can meet at that time. I believe Meghan is still out of town, but should be back for the luncheon on Saturday. Sorry Meghan... but wanted to get a room before they got reserved before us. Thanks for coming up with this idea for all of us!!! If you plan to come Saturday, reply to this post so we'll know how many people to expect. If its more then 20, then I'll call and change the number of people. I estimated 20, but wasn't real sure. Also, if anyone needs help finding it, reply and let us know. We are all coming from different directions, so I'm sure someone will help you get there. Karine

I also wanted to mention that EVERYONE is invited... pre-op and post-op! This is just a gathering of friends to have fun, relax, and try to eat as much food as we can without puking of course... lol.

Heck naw! Jump away. Thanks so much for getting the room. It was on my to do list for tomorrow so you saved me a phone call. For those unfamiliar with Jackson and surrounding area, you are looking for the Lakeland Drive/Starkville exit off I-55. Coming from the North, go left back over the overpass, then about 2.5 miles and follow Karine's directions. From the South, veer right off I-55 and go the same 2.5 or so miles. I'm thinking 20 sounds about right. Has anybody heard from Marci or Arlies? Is anybody bringing along rugrats? Meghan

I'm sorry but we won't be able to make the luncheon afterall. A dear friend passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer. Her funeral will be on Saturday. I am hoping to come to the support group meeting at CMMC Tuesday night, so maybe I'll get to meet some of you then. Pam

I am hoping to be there with my DH. It is a 4 1/2 hour drive for me. But worth it to meet all of y'all! Cindi M
