Hey yall --- You gotta go the the www. for "let's go walking MS" program sponsored by BCBS of MS.You can get a FREE step/mile counter, walking trails info, and etc. I know walking was benefical; but I did not know it could be helpful in preventing cancer. (I am telling my "headlights" to notice all my walking---I want to continue to beat the BIG C) My October mammagram was good!!!! I had been tracking my miles at my job at school out of curiosity w/ a pedometer I already had. Can you believe that on a daily basis of teaching and directing my children at the daycare center and teaching my teenagers that I am WALKING 10 TO 12 MILES A DAY???? I HAD NO IDEA!!! NO WONDER I AM TIRED!!!! HOWEVER---VERY GRATEFUL THAT THANKS TO WLS I AM ABLE TO WALK THIS MUCH. WHEN I WAS 400LBS THIS WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE. GLENDA (p.s. everyone does know I have no children or husband. I call my daycare kids and high school students " my kids". Yall are not doing me any good at finding me a date or male friend!!!!!)

I guess that I need a pedometer too. I really didnt realize that I was probably walking that much. I do stay on my feet a lot at school and walk around all the time. After school I do go walking too, in the markets. I have to park about 4 blocks away and then walk down to the streets, sometimes it is farther, but overall, I feel tired but good. Of course, lugging shopping bags helps my feelings a lot too! LOL! When I was 235 to 250 could not climb stairs, walking was painful too, now everyone says that I am skinny as a stick! Isnt WLS great! Cheryl
