Well Turkey Day is coming again soon. Was wondering if all of you would post some reciepes that we all could use to make a nice dinner that we can eat. I will be having some guests this year, made my dressing already and froze it so that is over with but need some new ideas for the meals to come...... Cheryl

Brine your turkey. It's the only way I'll cook the bird anymore. We've been doing it for about 5 years now. Juicy, juicy, juicy, even the white meat. Check out foodnetwork.com and search for Brined turkey or Good Eats Turkey. Yummy! I'm working on Splenda sweet potatoes and Splenda punkin' pie. Those are my favorites. I'm not going to even attempt to lower the fat content, I mean, this *is* Thanksgiving for cryin' out loud! I know I'll just be eating a tiny bit of everything but it is the tastes I miss. I will look up the recipe. I have been trying some things out. Latest is a dump cake with no sugar cherry pie filling and homemade cake mix. Not too bad, everyone ate it and no one realized it was SF! LOL....... Will keep working on a menu.....

I haven't tried any of these yet, but the recipes on Bariatric Eating.com look really good. Here's the link http://store.bariatriceating.com/featuredrecipe.html. Pam

I have the cookbook by Susan Maria. It has some good reciepes in it. Have printed more off, but someone always seems to have a clever solution for something on this board. I have gotten some great recipes in the past from several people and I am ALWAYs looking for something good to eat, Tired of EVERYTHING it seems. We dont have much fast food here in HK>>>>>>>>
