HI Y'ALL

Is anybody out there? Has no one in MS had a revision? I am in "waiting list hell" right now and about at my wits' end. :sniff: Why is it so hard to get a surgeon to do a revision? My original surgery was 21 yrs ago and the advancements are amazing to me. Y'all even have your own lingo and actual remedies. I've never heard of "foamies", but I definitely remember the feeling!!! I am waiting to get an appointment with Dr. Cleveland since I was recently denied by Dr. King after being on his waiting list 2 yrs. I am new to this webpage and think this message board is fantastic. I could really use some encouragement and emotional support about now. :angst: Keep up the gr8 work and I look foward to chattin with y'all and sharing this with folks that know what it's like to be in my shoes. :thumbsup: ........LEE

nice to meet cha!! u look gr8. i went from one extreme to the other after my surgery back in '85. things have improved tremendously in the patient education dept. since then. i was sent home with absolutely no dietary instructions or guidence of any kind. over the yrs, i gradually put back on all the weight plus 50 more lbs. thanx so much for responding. this is the first day i have felt a glimmer of hope since King denied me. keep in touch and i'm gonna add ya as a friend, K? cool. :thumbsup: LEELEE :fairy:

Best of Luck with your revision. I think Wanda Weimer had a revision. She lives down here on the coast, maybe she will see your message and post a response to you. Waiting is the worst part of the whole thing to me. The surgery was the best thing I have EVER done for myself! Welcome to our family! Rhonda
