How does 11/11 or 11/18 sound?

These dates are the second and third Saturdays in November. Either one work better for you? I figure we can take the simple majority. Also, let's discuss where. I'm always up for a trip to McAlister's but I don't think they have the seating we need. Ideas? Anyone? Help? *whimper* Meghan pretty today. I had to turn on the heater!!

I will be freezing my a** off in Boston on a business trip on 11/18. But 11/11 sounds good. I would love to meet you guys. We have had several get togethers over the last few years, and I have met many people on this board. But we have had a ton of new people join here lately. So, I am ready to meet all the new folks on here. Anywhere sounds good to me. I am not hard to please. LOL. Melissa

Either date is fine with me. McAlister's is good, Chicken Tortilla soup and a big tea to go.... Another thought is somewhere with a buffet...Shoney's or Ryans?? easier for those just post op.....just a thought.... OR a Mexican restaraunt... Novemer 11th sounds good to me. I think something with a buffet will be better for everyone because of the variety of foods and stuff. What about Western Sizzler? They have meeting rooms too. Even though I'm not crazy about the food when I went before surgery, but its edible... lol. Ryan's is good too and they have a meeting room also. Or Shoney's.... Karine

Okay, it is looking like the 11th will be our date. There are any number of good places on Lakeland drive. There's a Mediterranian place near Fondren. Moe's Southwest grill is good. We have Ryan's Steakhouse. Cozumel is a great Mexican place, cheap & tasty. Corky's BBQ...heck the list is endless! So folks, let's vote! Meghan

I could be in for the 11th. I don't vote for the Mediterranian place near Fondren because of the poor parking. I've never been to Moe's. There's a new mexican place down by dogwood mall--by oby's that is good and cheap. El Sombrero, i think, is the name. and it's nice inside--very open--lots of tables and not all crammed together. very nice atmosphere. but i don't like making decisions. i'll go where the crowd goes. mary]

I will try my best to come, I will be out of town part of that week but will be back for sure by the 9th, so I see no reason why I can't make it. Figure out where we will meet and send me some directions on how to get there from the coast, I will also be glad for anyone here on the coast to ride with me if they choose. I hate travelling alone.
