Coast Bash in the Planning

That's okay, I just cancelled the meeting for the 25th. I am flattered to say that most people did not want to go since I was not going to be there.. I feel so loved!! LOL... it was probably because I did not have a speaker. But anyways.... I am looking forward to the bash, I may have to change the date, I am awaiting all the feedback but it looks as if a lot of people will not be able to attend on that date due to other things going on. The only other date that was open was Dec 30, and I will be out of town for that day, but we will see what we can come up with! Take care, Call me, I am not working now, so we can meet for lunch. Hey, I will probably end up changing the date until January sometime. It seems that December is a very busy month for most people. I quit my job two weeks ago. The lady that I was stuck in the office with was just too lazy. I refused to get myself into a miserable situation where I have to do 90% of the work. I was only going to work there until the new semester started in January so that I could go to school full time. Anyway, I decided to go ahead and leave. So far it has been very nice being at home, I have more time to study for my tests and things for the classes that I have now. So, you guys up there in Hattiesburg need to plan a luncheon and I will come up there for that. Let me know when you and John have a free weekend and we can get together and do something. I don't blame you on the work thing. YOu know how miserable I was at my old job. I am glad I moved on. I like where I am. As far as having a lunch here in Hattiesburg, it would be me. Everyone else who came would be from somewhere else. None of the ones we started out with here in Hattiesburg come to the meetings anymore or get on this board anymore. It really sucks. I go to the meetings and don't know a soul there. I am the fartherst out who goes anymore. I try and still be involved and go to the meetings, but it seems these new ones that are going right now that are about to have surgery or just had surgery don't want to hear anything you have to say that may help them. THEY KNOW IT ALL ALREADY. I hate to tell them but they will be begging for someone farther out to help them at some point. So, anyway this has been one of those weeks here at work so I didn't even go to the meeting on Monday. Wasn't in the mood. You can fuss at me about my attitude if you want to. I can take it. LOL. Maybe you do just need to adjust my attitude a bit. LOL. I really wish they would have a support group here in Hattiesburg for those 1 year out or more. I think if they did that they would get these farther outs back involved. YOu know just have a 30 minute meeting before the main meeting. I have mentioned it, but so far they haven't done it. It is like I am a better planner when I have a partner. Christine always helped me coordinate things. But I am sure I can pull off a luncheon by myself. He he he.
